I’m still deciding on it but I don’t hate it!

I just love this fragrance its very feminine and sophisticated.

One of the best scents I've smelled yet. Has a really "red" scent to it (maybe that's just in my head because of "rouge" in the brand name). I love wearing it with a red krewneck or red hoodie and blue jeans as I think the scent fits well with the colour, but I can also see it being worn with professional attire or a suit. I will definitely be getting a large bottle eventually. Really attractive scent.

It’s a wonderful scent but sometimes I can’t smell it at all. It’s kind of frustrating to find a perfume that you love but not smell it on yourself. I’ve spent a lot of money on dupes but that was just a waste. There’s not one dupe of BR540 that smells nearly as good as the original. I might get a full bottle but not at full price.

For me, this falls somewhere between my favorite By the Fireplace, and less favorite 5 sens Life of the Party. Life of the Party feels like something is missing, and this is where Baccarat Rouge 540 got it right! It still falls slightly under By the Fireplace for me, but it’s a good runner up option.

I can't get enough of this scent. It's strong but feminine, has a softness to it while still holding your attention.

Very strong alcohol smell like it really didn’t smell like parfum at all. I sprayed on wrists. After an awhile the alcohol smell lingered i smelled a faint scent of the parfum. I guess this was a bad batch for me. Heard so much about it and I’m truly disappointed.

It is 5-stars worthy, but I am not completely wowed! I was so excited to try it, but I don't think it lives up to the hype. Maybe it is because there are so many dupes out there, that it is not as unique as it once was. With that being said, it is a lovely scent. Not as much projection as I expected. It can easily be worn in the daytime and in the office.

One of my favorites. It's great for work only issue is it doesn't last long enough.

I just don't get the hype. For me, the staying power of this fragrance was average at best. It wasn't particularly complex and there was no "wow" factor... you know the kind that makes you keep smelling your arm all day. I will use the travel size up but won't go out of my way to get more.

I’ve smelled this perfume on so many occasions but could never figure out what it is, now I know!! Such a nice scent, sweet but also ever so slightly woody.

What can I say. Many scent hobbyists feel fatigued on this fragrance. I still love it. It's great on the skin. Let it air dry, throw on an undershirt and dress shirt and head out to work. It projects pretty well through clothing but I like to layer it scent like Mocshino Toy Boy or Nishane Vain and Niave.

I have smelled Baccarat on other people several times and enjoyed the scent so ordering it for myself was a no-brainer. It does smell great, however I own other fragrances by Maison Francis Kurkdjan and this one does not last as long as the others. It seemed to fade away after a couple of hours.

Best smell I've received so far, really different and good

It was a miss for me I tried to pick it up, but I think all the hype is for nothing. it is almost a half smell that comes from it. I will try it again in the summer time.

Fragrance is ok, I can smell a lot of rubbing alcohol in it it smells like. Doesn’t last long at all.

I thought I would really like this but it's smells just like the dentist. I can feel the little bib and taste the tangy fluoride treatment when I smell it... it's not for me

Smells great need to last longer

Last a long long time on me but I also put it on at least three points. To me it smells like the inside of the Bellagio hotel in Las Vegas. There is an oceanic note from what is unmistakably ambergris, and a jasmoindes note that provides a floral note. There is also woody, and spice notes, the ambery musk goes on and on along with ambroxan.

I don’t get the hype. The smell doesn’t last, unless I’m not spraying enough lol. It smells good though. Just not a fave.

I was really excited to try this perfume. However I think my experience was ruined because I already have Zara Red Temptation and they smell the exact same. It’s a wonderful scent but you can easily find a dupe for a lot less!

After hearing about the hype, I added this to my fragrance queue. Honestly, I wasn’t that impressed. It smells good don’t get me wrong but it doesn’t last long on myself on top of it doesn’t project far. I feel like there are so many other more affordable fragrances that smell just like this one.

Barely smelled anything at all

One of only a handful of perfumes so special as to evoke an emotional reaction - one of joy and sheer delight. On my skin this lasts at least 12 hours.

This has become my favorite of all time perfume. The compliments are endless when wearing this perfume.

Smells amazing… best scent so far

I love the smell of this in the bottle, smells amazing, however when I put it on my skin I smell like an old man. When my daughter wears it she smells amazing. So idk if there’s something with my skin it just doesn’t like but I can’t wear it.

I love it, smells a lot like “Cloud”

At first spray there’s a minty coolness I was unsure about but, once it dries down it starts to fade a bit and the scent turns into this sweet (not sickly sweet), woody, vanilla-ish, jasmine-y fragrance that’s beautiful. The best way I can describe it is, imagine u walk outside on a cold winter day and something in the crisp cold air smells of a sugary vanilla, woody jasmine. U smell all of those notes blended beautifully but along with that, u also smell the cool crisp air. It’s a very nice fragrance. But personally it’s not something I would buy a whole bottle of.

This is a really nice fragrance. It smells very autumn/winter, like a soft warm spice. Lasts a while directly on skin but doesn't linger long.

Can’t really rate it. Bottle emptied out during shipping. Someone didn’t close the bottle right. Bummer. Now I have to wait to see if scentbox will replace it

It’s a pretty scent that is recognisable. Clean and slightly sweet. After having kids , most perfumes I liked (Chanel tendre and similar) stopped smelling nice for me. So I was happy to find something I actually Like!

Incredible on its own but layers well with almost anything . I love this layered with oud satin mood or portrait of a lady.

Upon initial spray I find this perfume to be a Very clean scent. I don’t get any sweetness. To me it’s not very complex. For me, I’d use it as a base to layer scents that are more fruity or sweet. This scent seems very uneventful to me. I don’t think I’d buy a full size bottle, I would, however, use the sample and do understand why people enjoy this fragrance.

Very sweet, reminds me of cotton candy. Not at all what I was expecting. It grew on me. I gave it 4 stars because it doesn't last very long. I do like it though.

This is a VERY pleasant fragrance, just not my favorite profile. I like more vanilla. This is, however, sophisticated and refreshing.

There is a reason this is one of the best out there. 100% complete package deal. Performance and smell is top notch.

it does have a unique smell to it that can be easily identified as the famous 540 but the scent it self isn't that mind blowing, kinda over rated but worth a sample

One of my favorites!

Actually didn’t like this at first. It sat on my shelf for a few months and decided one day to wear it again. Every time I wear it, I get so many compliments. Don’t know if I just didn’t give it a chance or it needs to sit for a little for the scent to develop better.

This is my favourite so far, I find it to be a really pleasant, warm scent that I believe the term "mature" suits quite well. Probably more feminine, but I still enjoy it anyway.

I have had more compliments while wearing the fragrance than any other! The nice thing is when they did they did not smell me or get to close they walked in my vicinity and said something smells so good over here whoever is wearing that fragrance it is beautiful. If it happened once while sitting in the same spot I would not have thought it was my fragrance but not matter were I was that was the same story. It also lasted all day!!!

One of my favorites! When I first put this on I wasn’t sure if I would like it or not. The more I wore it, the more I fell in love with it. It’s a very sexy and long lasting scent.

BR 540 is definitely a different scent from any other I have owned or tested. I like it, but I prefer it layered with my vanilla woods scent. For fall, it would be great on it's own. It's definitely genderless.

I had heard this perfume smells like a hospital, and at first, that's exactly what I smelled too. But over time, I got used to it and now I really enjoy wearing it every day. One spray is enough, and it lasts all day. It’s the perfect scent for the office—clean and professional. I can’t see myself wearing it anywhere else, though

I love this fragrance! Smells like a rich women with old money who wears long white gloves and smokes Virginia slims from a cigarette extender ???? My only complaint it doesn’t last long. The cool down period smells the best but it doesn’t last as long as it should for the price you’re paying. Still one of my favs nevertheless.

This is overhyped. Smell is strong and lasts DAYS, but when it smells this awful, that's not a good thing. Smells like vomit breath the morning after drinking too much.

Welp! looks I'm one of those ppl that are super sensitive to ambroxan bc this blinds my nose instantly. I can't honestly even say what this smells like bc I have yet to smell it despite using it 4 times already. Apparently a lot of ppl have this experience so be warned! It's insane and so disappointing. I'm giving it 2 stars bc my husband does think it's a really nice light smell and described it like a cloud which reminds me of Ariana's cloud being compared to this. Wish I knew! ??

This is my go to scent, however I mix it with bath and body works dahlia!! Always get compliments saying it's not an overpowered scent.

I wanted to like this since it’s so hyped up and people even say it’s Rhianna signature perfume. But in my opinion it smells like freshly cut grass. It’s just not for me. Will keep using though as I’m not wasteful so it might grow on me overtime. As for longevity, I feel like it personally lasted all day for me (and I live in Miami where it’s hot and I’m sweaty just stepping outside).

I did not like this one, it smelled more like a man's fragrance and had a "bleachy" smell. Not for me!

The smell is fantastic. I have nothing but good things to say about the way it smells. But this fragrance does not project at all. For a purfume that cost 400 dollars a bottle I would expect the the projection to be fantastic. And it was a total let down.

Was not a fan of this scent. Not too sure what the hype was about. It did last the entire day and then some. However, I prefer Ariana Grande’s God is a Woman. It has a cleaner scent.

When I first sprayed it, I did not like it, but once it was on for a little bit, I fell in love!! So I would say if you don’t like it at first, give it a chance to mellow out a little before deciding for sure.

Beautiful scent, but not a lot of staying power for me

I have been in love with this since I tried it last year. I'd give it 5 stars but the longevity is terrible. The scent itself is slightly masculine but in a very sexy way. I get tons of compliments when I wear it. I get migraines so I've always stuck with gourmand or fresh/citrus fragrances. This is neither. It's a very grownup sexy scent. Definitely a unisex fragrance. It's pricey so getting it through scentbox is perfect if you're not wanting to spend that much for a full size bottle. Hands down one of my favorites. Like I said the only downside is the longevity.

I’m still not 100% sure how I feel about this scent. When I sprayed it the first time I was not in love with the scent and could not understand the hype. As the day wore on, and the fragrance settled down, I actually found it quite pleasant. It is a very sweet smell. Hard to describe really. I’m not sure I would spend the money on a full-size bottle, however, I have found that I actually do enjoy this fragrance.

LOVE THE SMELL!

So, I'll start off by saying that I've only ever smelled dupes of this perfume, but I have smelled just about every dupe their is, with varying levels of enjoyment of the fragrance. My biggest complaint with every dupe is that they all have this sort of weird synthetic element to them (think burning plastic). I'm glad to say that the original doesn't. It's very well blended and is smooth. Everyone has always said the dupes are well done and smell exactly like the original. But truly, they do not. This one is sweet and woody and sultry. I don't like the price tag, but this is the best version of the woody amber scent profile. I recommend trying it, as its fairly pleasing to most people. Doesn't last as long as I though it would though surprisingly.

Everyone always asks what I’m wearing and I’m glad I can have this always on hand through this service. A whole bottle would be so much money up front. I don’t know if it’s a ‘special occasion’ perfume, but I honestly wear it as an everyday perfume. It’s perfect for me.

I was really hopeful for this perfume since it seems to be so popular but it's much too intense and spicy for me. I tried to let it dry down but it still chokes me out.

Sweet ??. So frickin sweet. This smells like Fruity Pebbles and cotton candy. Like many reviewers I was super excited to try this after all the hype. Unfortunately, I am sadly disappointed. The scent is strong, and it lasts a long time, but the sweetness is cloying to me. For someone who wants to smell like candy however, it would probably be a win.

Don’t really understand the hype on this. I know a lot of my friends love it but when I tried it on myself, it reminded me of an old-lady scent and made me nauseous. This one was an immediate NO for me! I can’t understand the hype and am beyond disappointed. It was awful to me. I can’t even describe why I hated it so much but it was so bad, I tried scrubbing it off and it wouldn’t come off. So, 5 stars for longevity! But actually awful to me. It smelled like spicy incense and chemicals gone rancid.

This scent is a personal favourite! It's sweet, but not in a cheap or simple way. It's complex and works for young and old, in the office or a night out. I've had more compliments on this than any other fragrance. However, for the price, I expected much more longevity. I was thinking it would be a similar class to Le Labo, but it was not near that potent! Some would prefer that!

I was really hoping I was going to love this one especially because of all the hype it gets but I was honestly disappointed in it. I love the smell but had to actually drench myself in it to smell it and even after doing that after an hour I couldn't even smell it anymore even on my clothes the smell was completely gone. For a perfume that is so expensive it should actually last much longer.

I was very excited and curious to find out why this perfume was so well talk about. Unfortunately the smell did not sit well on my skin. On me it smells like Clorox with a hint of jasmine and the slightest tiniest bit of sweet. It mostly smells like cleaning agents on me. On my friends and my daughter it smells fruity floral and cotton candy. Smells good on others but it’s not for me. It’s good but not worth the price it is.

I've had a hard time finding a perfume that I like and can wear until now. BR540 is woody, spicy and has fast become my favorite and I will continue to buy.

I used my rewards to get the sample amount (not included on my plan) and I cannot convey to anyone just how good this is. The scent is sexy, sweet but not childish, floral but not heavy. In the 2 years I’ve been subscribed to scentbox, this is hands down my favorite scent.

The first 2 times I wore it I was like, wow, I am SO glad I hate it because I cannot justify that kind of money for a full bottle. Who likes to smell like wet inner tube and mint gum!? The third time…they got me. It is absolutely heavenly and now I’m trying to put it on layaway like my mama used to do Christmas presents at K-Mart. It truly is exquisite.

Extremely overrated, this smells like almost any other ambergris or amber scent I’ve used, but with a slight spice added. Definitely not worth the hype or the money, especially when the same fragrance can be achieved with a straight amber oil and a spicy/oriental lotion base. Rather disappointing, very glad I tried it before I wasted the money on a full size product.

So I of course had to see what all the hype was about with this perfume... Honestly, it smells great. It's got some spice to it and it more of a night time perfume. It's a beautiful scent, very rich and mature smelling. The only down side is that it doesn't last very long.

While this scent could be gender neutral, it leans feminine. I wound up giving this to my fiancé and I love it on her. It typically lasts all day and she has a little cloud of warm sexy fragrance around her. Lots of compliments and a great perfume.

The smell from the bottle was incredible. I couldn’t wait to wear it. The first spray was both fruity and spicy in a way that I’d never smelled before. Then it hit my skin. I smelled like a tree-shaped car air freshener. I smelled like the inside of a 1978 Camaro. I smelled like my childhood babysitter’s petty criming boyfriend who was NOT allowed to visit. Dry down has morphed into someone’s nice grandpa who has an occasional cigar. I smell like a spa with a hairy chest. Not for me.

It's so good. Warm and unique (well it was for its time). Sexy and uplifting. Has an intriguing note which was very enticing to me and I couldn't put my finger on, but was later ruined when someone in another review mentioned that it can smell like a hint of bandaid. So now I both love this fragrance some days and can't stop smelling a hint of bandaid on other days. Some people say its the saffron that has this quality. Try it for yourself. It either completely works for you or doesn't. A slightly polarizing scent. Very heavy so stick to one or two sprays.

My daughter loves, I got it for her. It didn't really smell that amazing to me but my oldest daughter and my husband lives the way it smells. Apparently it has something to do with the olfactory sense and I can't smell it at the same capacity that others can. I don't dislike it I just wouldn't buy it for myself.

I agree with many reviews that there is a burnt sugar, woodsy scent to this. I am newer to fragrance and I don't think this would be my scent; however, it does work and is unique in its own way. I also could not smell this a short time after applying which I found odd as many had stated its potency.

So I can barely smell anything but this perfume I was able to smell and omg it lasted so long. I wore it for a whole evening and woke up the next morning being able to still smell it. I love it I wish I could buy the whole bottle

I love this fragrance. Not because it’s trendy. Or because someone told me I smell “rich” LOL. Because it suits me. I can’t smell it on myself but I’ve had children hug me and say “you smell so good” …and my friend called and said I wore your sweater today, and it smells like you! I miss you! That’s what a fragrance should do.

It does smell amazing but not what all the hype was about cloud smalls just like it and it doesnt last long like I expected so I later it with cloud overall dont think I will be buying a bigger bottle I'm going to try some of his other fragrances

I love the different notes in Baccarat Rouge 540. This is not a strong fragrance at all. It is a very light, warm scent. A hint of tea. A gentle touch of Jasmine and a smooth finish with the Saffron. My only issue was that mine smelled like alcohol, until it started to dry down. I don’t know if this is normal for the fragrance or for decanted versions.

I DO really like it though and I’ve been getting compliment after compliment it seems. This is one of the most unique scents I have ever smelled! Nothing out there smells even close to this gem. The candy-sweet, semi woody, and ambery opening turns into a minty fresh still a candy-sweet scent with subtle hints of sweet and fresh spices coming through. It is so unique yet so familiar, like when you meet someone new and you get the feeling you actually known them your whole life. I was wondering for a long time what all the hype surrounding this cologne was about; Well, now I know! The projection during the day is not overly strong, more close to the skin. However it actually lasts for days! Great all-year-round and everyday scent.

I fell into the hype due to TikTok creators, and I had to try it. In short, the perfume is not for me, it isn’t bad per se on me but it just doesn’t flow well with my body chemistry. On my partner though, it smells great; thankfully someone will get to enjoy it!

Wow I am in love with this scent! From the first delicious sweet notes, heady but still light and transparent in a way that is impossible to understand until you have experienced it. The warm amber and comforting woody notes finish it off perfectly. I reapply regularly for a fresh burst, mainly because I’m obsessed, not because it needs it. I loved it so much I bought the full size bottle plus the extrait and body lotion, worth every penny!

I could not smell this and it did not live up to the hype. I get more compliments on Juicy Gold then I received with this fragrance. Nothing too bad nice light scent however it was just very faint had to spray multiple sprays and still my friends said they smelled nothing. Gave 3 stars because again it didn't stink but I don't feels as though it was anything special.

It's okay, my husband and 3 kids say an enthusiastic 10/10 though! It reminds me of my time in Vegas but not in a cheap way. The glitz, the glamour, staying in the Bellagio. When I go back you best BELIEVE I'm wearing this lol. I only used two pumps and my husband could smell it from across the room. I could smell it on my skin for over 24 hours until I put on heavily scented lotion and even then, I could still slightly smell it.

This one is between 4 and 5 stars for me. It wasn't a blind buy; I enjoyed smelling it, and also the extrait at Bloomingdale's. I hope Scent Box gets the extrait. Anyway, I liked this one too, well enough to get the decant, but I like so many frags I don't need to invest in a full bottle. This one is hyped up due to to the Baccarat crystal bottle story, but to me, it's an equivalent value to other luxury perfumes of this price. Don't worry about the hype and just use your nose. If you like it, it's worth it that's it. Impressions: On me, to my nose, it leans feminine. I know guys are interested but I'd not call this a masculine scent. Also, my first and most lasting impression is that it's a fruity scent. In frags that have citrus notes, Bergamot, orange, orange flower, Mandarin, etc., those notes are always front and center for me, no matter how many other notes are listed. I get an orange, orange blossom mix with a note that stays cool and fresh all along. Like a cool, moist, fresh note. Even hours later I still get that, with a floral powdery dry down to round it out. I feel like you could wear this year round daily, may be a little heavy in hot weather, we shall see. It's ok for office, but on me, it's a little strong with overspray potential. I used 3 small sprays on neck and wrists 14 hours ago and it's still there. Office friendly if you're not a heavy sprayer. I'd like to smell this on a man and see what impression it leaves. This is another nice one. Scent Box, can we have the extrait please!

I found it to be overwhelming and a bit nauseating. It smelled like I had my face to the air vent at Hollister stores. I liked that sent in the store when it was subtle. This fragrance is far from subtle. This one is not for me. I'm glad I changed my subscription to try it though. Exchanging to try something else.

This scent is amazing it last all day and every person smells it on me it can be layered and that does change it a little but layered with vanilla body spray makes it even more irresistible

I wanted to see if this scent was going to live up to the hype that it was getting. Unfortunately for me it did not give what it gave to others. I was disappointed. It (1) did not last long (2) It was a bit manly for me. My daughter said maybe I need to pair it with something else. But I am by no way a chemist and I do not have the patience to be mixing and matching perfumes like I am in some science lab. LOL

I love it! I have tried the oil version of this for a lot cheaper price and it smells the same. The difference between the knock offs and the real one is the dry down. The original dry down is unmatched.

I wanted to see if this lived up to all the hype since I’d seen it all over social media and also the dupes posted for it. Well, it did NOT disappoint. I don’t usually like unisex scents as I don’t want something that smells manly. I like some femininity to fragrances. It has that, but I could also see a man enjoying it as well. I definitely feel like the amber is the star of the show, and the woody, almost spicy and floral notes balance it out. Its sexy. I wore it to work and got compliments all day. Even after being there for 8 hours my coworker said she could still smell it. I asked if it was overpowering when I first got there - she said no and it just smelled delicious.

This scent smells good,but to me is very overrated for the price. It's not very strong and has a pretty intimate sillage. I have other scents that last way longer than this at half the price. It is definitely a pleasant smell though, just a bit of a disappointment with all the hype around it.

I was really hoping to like it but it smells like chemicals mixed with sweet woodsy scent, mixed with rubbing alcohol, mixed with sharpie marker at a horse stable or monkey pen… There’s a faint sweet smell after a shower but I don’t like the initial smell. I can’t walk around with that terrible smell.

I get the hype around this perfume. I can't quite put my finger on what it reminds me of, but it has a comforting and familiar scent. It doesn't fit the typical old or young lady fragrances - it's a good happy medium that would be appropriate for any occasion or season.

It has a weird smell that I can’t put my finger on. Considering how expensive this perfume is, I was pretty disappointed.

The best way I could describe this is if original cool water for men was also soft and semi sweet. I can see why men wear this too. My husband gave me the omg reaction, my 10 yr old son said you smell like peaches! My 7 yr old daughter asked me if I took a shower. I gave it a 4 because I find it really unique and many fragrances smell the same to me. I took a shower the next day and I can still smell it on my skin. I smelled it the whole day I was wearing it. The soft sweet part kind of melts away quickly and the cool watery part is left behind.

It really is the epitome of a unisex fragrance in my opinion because it smells a little too feminine to be for men, and a little too manly to be for women. With that being said, my wife didn't like it for her, so I kept it for me. I get some sort of a candy smell coming from it, which I guess is what gives it that feminine smell.

I do love this scent but I do think it is so over hyped and it's not as unique as it used to be because you can go to any store, restaurant, mall and you'll smell at least two women wearing it. The scent does have longevity and you do get a strong wiff when someone wearing it walks by you. I honestly wouldn't buy a bottle just because it's so popular and just not one of my favorite perfumes anymore.

okay so i'll start off by saying i've smelled a few dupes of BR540 before i smelled the real deal, so i was already familiarized with this fragrance DNA and i really liked my dupes. i was slightly nervous to smell it because it's such a hyped perfume and i really wanted it to be much better than all my other dupes but... it's okay? the dental office/toothpaste smell to me is stronger in the original than in the dupes i have. i will say the notes are sharper in the original, you can almost smell every note more distinctly if you focus rather than it all being blended, which may be the reason why the toothpaste smell is stronger in this one. nevertheless, i like it. but i was bummed the dupes are so similar to the original, IMO not worth the heavy price tag when you can snatch the same smell for a fraction of the price.

Surprisingly intrigued by the multilayered notes. This is one to sit on as it has much to say from the first to the last note. I would say it really depends on body chemistry.

Strong staying power and just the right amount of reach. Anyone who knows fragrance can spot this one right away, just like MADEMOISELLE!

Smells like burnt sugar or toasted marshmallows to me, which I personally love. I can’t get enough of this scent. It’s not overpowering either. I think its projection is on the weaker side.

This is my new go to. If the song Let's Get It On was a smell, it would be this scent. Love it. It starts of musky but fresh, then there are notes of soft floral. Not one I would have chosen for myself usually but I've seen so much about it i had to try it. It is pure magic and i am in love. Definitely recommend.

I've now tried 100s of fragrances - this is by far the most unresistible. Many perfumes smell great; this one always gives me an OMG moment - actually, several throughout the day. I agree with the other reviewer - when my sample runs out from here and from the discovery kit, I'm going to have to splurge. If I could only have one perfume for the rest of my life, it would be Baccarat Rouge 540. If I could have two - the runner-up is definitely Gentle Fluidity in Gold. I didn't expect my two favorites to be from the same house. I didn't choose a season or occasion because it really fits all of them.

I don’t wear this scent often because it’s so cliche at this point, however it’s a lovely scent. A gourmandish dental floss smell. Everyone loves it. I love it. I mix it with fresher scents to brighten the scent up.

This is the perfume that specifically got a subscription for to try. I have smelled it many times but never had the chance to see how it wears on my skin. I adore the scent, but the lasting power is much better on hair and clothes than on my skin. For a perfume that’s $500 for a full bottle, I would expect significant longevity. I’m glad that I’ve had a chance to try this and I do love the scent, but I’m most likely never going to purchase a full bottle since the longevity isn’t there.

Leave it. Only fragrance I have returned so far, and I really don't get the hype. Smells similar to Another 13 which I also don't like. For some reason I think of old lady when I smell both. I know both are loved, so its probably just me. It does stick tho, I had to scrub in the shower to get rid of the smell.

Love everything about this one! Lingers forever. Strong leather and almond notes which I love. Wish it were not so pricey though. This is def a tie for my favorite perfume though. This is a winter perfume for sure!

It took me a day to get used to it but once it settled on me, i was in love. My clothes still had a lingering scent the next day. It definitely gives a rich, sexy feel. Will definitely get another one.

It's just ok I don't know what all the hype is about. My husband said it smell like a chemical and that's the best way I can describe it. It's not something I would buy but I'll use what I have. I feel like it lasts long as my sister says she can still smell it on me after a long day at work.

This was my 1st aver and I wanted the most expensive and talked abt fragrance. I was highly disappointed, the smell is definitely not for me. It's very woodsy, a little musky and a bit too masculine for my taste. Exchanged it immediately.

I have had a staple go to perfume for years and although I still love it, I thought it was time to expand my collection and ScentBox is definitely the way to go. I really love this fragrance. This is the second time I have ordered and will be purchasing a full size bottle soon. As others have said. I do not smell it much on myself but receive so many compliments from others when I am wearing it. I understand that many women use perfume to enjoy it on their own, but what a confidence builder when you are constantly being told how wonderful you smell.

WOW! The balance in this scent is amazing. Great floral, sweet and a hit of earthy. I was expecting over the top sweet and vanilla, not at all an overwhelming gourmand scent. This is playful and sophisticated at the same time.

By far the worst fragrance I've ever used. I'm not sensitive and I had to shower, it gagged me, it smells like old grandma breath YUCK maybe a rich wealthy grandma but very gross!!!

I was really hopeful based on the hype for this fragrance but it is not for me. It is nice but heavy. I am going to continue to use it in different environments, maybe with layering, to see what works.

I am looking for a new scent and saw all the hype about this one. While there is nothing wrong with the scent, I consider it 'average'. Once you factor the price in, it's a solid NO for me. It starts off fairly soft, a little powdery and sweet, under that - a little woody, then dissipates quickly for me. I'll use this, but it'll be a weekday/work fragrance.

Definitely overhyped. The initial scent is lovely. Sweet...but it doesn't last. The lingering spice scent reminds me of Replica By The Fireplace.

I think I ruined myself with this cologne because I smelled it once and I enjoyed it and then I ended up getting a bottle of Instant Crush by mensara and it's so Amplified and overpowered that when I got this sample, I was pretty underwhelmed. This is definitely not what I expected especially for over 300 a bottle. It's very strong sticky almost cheap smelling to me. If you like loud sticky sweet smell. I don't like this at all. Love that you can try through scentbox without wasting so much money. Guessing how long I had to wash it off.

This is probably one of my favorite perfumes. It is easy to go nose blind to the scent. Usually it will last a while. Unfortunately, I have heard that some of the bottles smell like rubbing alcohol/have something wrong, and it seems that might have been the case for the one I received from here.

No no no no no. I have no idea how this perfume gained cult following status because I cannot stand it. Smells like smoker's breath mixed with seaweed. I cannot stand it. I know this is one of those that is supposed to mix with your brain chemistry and become irresistible, but both me and my husband almost started gagging on first sniff. I had to go take a shower and change because I was sitting on the couch near my husband and he eventually had to ask me if I could go wash it off because it was making him feel ill. It was making me feel the same way but I was trying to tough it out thinking I would start to like it after smelling it for a while. I definitely did not

It smells like I spilled a children's juice box on myself. It is very sweet smelling. I think it smells like a women's perfume but my wife thinks it smells like a man's cologne. It has some good undertones but I can't get past the sweet smell. Overhyped in my opinion.

I can't get past this pungent sharp scent of a doctor's office. Such a bummer because I was SO ready to shell out the big bucks for the full size bottle. I am very thankful for Scentbox, because I will be exchanging this for something more my style. P.s. A little tip would be to layer this fragrance with another scent to tone down the overpowering Ambroxan that comes through.

This scent is addictive. My first impression was Hollister-like cologne with cedar whiffs. The more I wear it though, the more I get these delicious candy undertones. It's spicy, but sweet and creamy too. It's soooo good. One of my favorites, for sure.

REEKED. My GOD ?? I wanted to like this so bad because I like many other fragrances that are considered adjacent like CLOUD but this was SO nasty. It smelled sour and like BO. When I first tried it, it had barely any smell. I waited again and tried it the next day. It was heinous. Had to wash it off. So sad. Maybe I’m one of the people who smells iodide or maybe it’s a body chemistry issue but ??

At first, I couldn’t understand the hype. The next day I gave it another shot, then I really started to like it. The opening of cloud is spot on, but the dry down is much different. BR 540 is much better. The silage is great as well as longevity. Just purchased a big bottle.

At first I didn't really like this scent at all, and thought it was overpriced and overhyped. It was strong and mature. However, after actually wearing it out and about, I fell in love. This has staying power. The first time I wore this after a night out, I came home and snuggled under a blanket on my couch. I could still smell the residual scent on the same blanket weeks later. This scent quickly and unexpectedly grew on me, and it's now one of my favs even though I wish it wasn't due to the price tag.

To me, doesn’t smell too too different than the Ariana grandes cloud perfume. I like her perfume and I like this but for the cost, I’d like to smell more distinct differences. Perhaps my nose is is compromised still from prior Covid as well lol

This was not for me. It is powerful, heavy and lasts forever! One light spray on each wrist was too much. After scrubbing with soap and hot water, I could still smell it , although much more bearable. Remains on my clothes days later. The dry down is gourmand and sweet. Quite pleasant in small doses. However the main notes of this to me are masculine, reminiscent of a suffocating men's cologne. Those notes disappear and then reappear randomly for me. I noticed that it also really projects in a warm room. Can't believe that this was all observed by what was left after scrubbing it off! I really wanted to like it and if it was just the sweet gourmand dry down, I would. I just really don't like the main character of this scent. I totally understand how this is a love/hate thing for people.

It's true that it is not as strong as the original. In fact it is extremely lighter. Smells nice but it goes away so fast. The first 4 sprays I think were the strongest. I will eventually unsubscribe to find a good duplicate.

This is the perfect date night/cold weather fragrance. It’s warm with citrus and amber notes. The fragrance lasts all day on me and is not “old lady” or powdery smelling in the least. I have placed it in my rotation with Chance by Chanel and YSL Black Opium.

I sprayed a blotter and laid it on my nightstand and for 2 days that was all you could smell when I came in my room. Very strong!! I’m figuring out just how much to spray so it’s not overpowering.

I can see why this is so popular. It just has that air of luxury to it. The amber notes are really the star of the show and it smells like beautiful body lotion. It seems to last longer and smell nicer on my clothes versus on my skin but after spraying it this morning, I can still smell it. Not sure if I'd be able to justify the price for a full-sized bottle, but it is very, very nice.

Strong and feminine, but not long lasting

I feel bad giving this 2 stars as I believe that maybe it's my DNA BUT this smelled AWFUL to me. I could smell it before I even sprayed it. I don't know how to describe it but I do have an aversion to Saffron, which apprently this does have in it (though I didn't specifically smell that?). My daughter and husband said it smelled good but I couldn't STAND it. It smelled like cheap, pungent Walgreens cologne. Straigh up chemical. Again, this was probably my chemical make up, DNA, whatever you would like to call it but TERRIBLE to me.

With the first use, I was so reminded of Ariana Grande's Cloud that I couldn't understand the hype. Now that I've worn it a few times, I'm picking up on the uniqueness and I really do love it. It's incredibly long lasting, and it does have an airy, elevated cotton candy vibe. If you like sweet scents, I think you'll like it. I want to put it on every day, and I could see getting the small size again when I run out.

I wanted to try this because it's so highly rated and people seem to go crazy for this scent. When I sprayed it I couldn't smell it unless I put my nose close to my wrist. The only thing I could smell is burnt sugar. I'm not sure if this scent doesn't project or it's just my nose. It was a skin scent on me. However, the staying power is amazing. Even after washing the places I sprayed I could still smell it. It was hours after I sprayed! In fairness I just don't think I like this scent profile. I haven't cared for any scent that was suppose to smell similar.

I think is a controversial fragrance due to its popularity and price. Some people love it, some hate it. I had read prior that arianna grandes could is a dupe for this, and that’s spot on. Obviously BC540 lasts way longer but if you’d like to know what it smells like, try Arianna grandes cloud!

I had seen this mentioned everywhere online. Many people were singing its praises while others were convinced it was gross or just an overpriced product with a much more affordable dupe (Ariana grande Cloud). I already own Cloud so I was curious to see how similar they were as well as what all the fuss was about. Having smelled both now I can say they are very similar. To me Cloud is sweeter than BR540. After smelling it I also understand why people love it so much. I really love it. I think I like it more than cloud, but I’m not sure that I can justify the expense of a full size bottle. For now I’m planning to thoroughly enjoy my sample.

So, I’ve been using a dupe for over a year, and I wanted to try the real deal. I honestly like the dupe more because it smells identical but is much stronger. Lovely scent!

Baccarat Rouge is an interesting fragrance. A strong musk is right at the top, pleasantly earthy and slightly animal. It is powdery, more in a dry quality than baby powder. It quickly become transparent and vaporous, and evolves into less a fragrance than a presence. It’s sense of presence is its greatest quality and the best accomplishment of the perfumer - it is an aura rather than aroma.

I love the top citrus notes that descend into a slightly-sweet, woody, almost musk-like finish. It doesn’t last at the strength I like, to the length of time that I prefer, but that’s just a minor detail.

Gorgeously warm & sexy fragrance

Lovely fragrance, definitely see the hype about it however on me the longevity is weak. After a couple of hours it dries down very light.

I tried the fragrance because of YouTube. The fragrance is okay but I swear I have smelled this scent before, I can’t remember by who.

I love this so much, but I become aosmic to it quickly.

Very sexy scent

It's a TikTok made me try it. Not my typical perfume family, but decided to give it a go. I liked it a lot, hubby liked it as well, just prefers other perfumes on me over this one.

It’s expensive. I wanted to sample it first. It does smell amazing. It’s in my top 5 right now. I only wear for evening or special occasions. I do find myself spraying on more because I love the scent. I remember I wore a jacket and didn’t wear it for a few more days and the scent was still there.

I was not sure what I was expecting but it’s a very soft intense fragrance. Smells lingers all day pairs really well with pretty much everything and definitely will get you compliments. Definitely would get again

Super disappointed. I think it barely smells like anything. It is like sugar, bandaids and cardboard. Luckily it is super faint. Honestly I think I want to return it for something else. Considering I paid $30 for 8ml. I’d rather have something that actually smells good on me.

It’s over hyped , dark and rich amber smell. It last an ok amount of time but I have other scents that smell way better than this if your looking for something classy and “material girl” like you’ll be disappointed.

I was not impressed. It feels like it’s missing something. Like a pot without a lit. Boring, bland. The only way it works for me is to layer it with another perfume.

A beautiful scent that I enjoy a lot for both males and females. It’s hard for me to describe other than fancy, smells a bit like a really nice mall, and it’s more gourmand than I had expected. I only use a few sprays, so with more sprays I’m sure it would last longer.

Smells really good

Excellent longevity. Projection isn't great on my skin, but on cloth it's fantastic. Days later, it's still on my jacket. I get a smoky sugar with a touch of saffron, plus the cedar and fir. It isn't earth-shattering for me, but it's a pleasant neutral. My husband likes it a lot, but I'm more of a deeper, darker scent kind of gal. This isn't that. I'm still happy with it and will continue to wear it when I need a cheery scent.

Everytime I wear this, someone comments on how good I smell. I love this one.
